Lee Ann moved to Portland in 2008 following an eight-year stint in Paris, France, where she spent a lot of time on cafe terraces. Though she thought no city could compete with Paris, Portland immediately stole her heart. As a great place to raise kids, she loves getting out and exploring the city and region with her husband and four young children.

Lee Ann earned degrees in Communications and Linguistics at the American University of Paris and L’Universite de Paris – La Sorbonne, respectively. Her professional experience spans over a decade of online and offline media marketing, including community management, content strategy, advertising and event planning. She recently opened a homesteading shop and studio, Frigg’s Mercantile, in Northeast Portland.

As a small business owner and mother, she strives to get some occasional “me” time in, which she likes to spend geocaching, soap-making, and following international soccer.

Wynter Kaiser

Managing Editor

Wynter is a stay-at-home wife and mother with a tendency to over-commit. She lives in Forest Grove with her handsome hubby Jonathan and their three spicy kiddos, Chloe, Adaya, and Liam.

Wynter is a writer, artist, a lover of stories, an avid gardener, binge-TV watcher, and chocolate-covered cherries addict. In addition to being the Managing Editor for PMB, she is also a professional, freelance editor.

In 2012, she self-published her first book, The Secret Inside Me, a memoir about an unplanned pregnancy at twenty years-old and her journey to choosing adoption. She founded the Made to Mother Project in 2013 to encourage, support and inspire women all over the world by sharing their diverse stories of motherhood.

Jen Knight

Jen set the stage for Portland Moms Blog when she founded it in early 2015. After nearly two years with PMB, she stepped back from her responsibility as owner, but her early work and commitment to the PMB community continues to shine today.

Jen is a Type A introvert who is continually learning {in large part as a result of motherhood} that she can’t control it all and that everything is better with chocolate. After spending most of her life in Minnesota, she made Portland home a few years ago along with her New York native husband, Phil, and their lovely littles, Connor {November 2010} and Brielle {April 2013}.

In addition to her newer roles as mom, pastor’s wife, and business owner, Jen works part-time doing corporate communications for a business travel management company. She loves all kinds of music and enjoys reading when she can find the time.

Jen also quickly fell in love with Oregon and, along with her family, is determined to explore all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. At their current stage of family life, she and her hubby give every adventure a 50/50 shot of succeeding without a child {or parent} meltdown.
