Look, I don’t have time to mess around and neither do you! Do you ever feel guilty spending money on yourself? Especially for things like makeup, hair accessories, or other personal items? Well, stop, because here are FIVE drugstore beauty products that get the job done, and will leave your wallet guilt-free. I am a makeup junkie, and I love all of these, most of which can be found at your Walmart, Target, or Walgreens. All opinions are my own.

1. Hard Candy Glamoflage Concealer

It is like spackle for the face. This is great for that once-in-awhile giant break out that appears just before that special event. BUT be careful, as it can crease around the eyes for those of us *ahem* with aging skin. It is really great when you have only a few minutes, but want to look flawless. A few dabs of this and some powder, and you will seriously have an airbrushed finish and be camera ready!

2. Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

Maybe she’s born with it? NOPE. It’s amazing how two coats of mascara can open up those eyes! Don’t want to pay $20 for mascara? Me either! This does the job. My old favorite/second choice was Covergirl Lash Blast, which is also good.

3. NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil (in the shade “Milk”)

This stuff can act as an eyeshadow primer, but really where it helps is in the corner of your eye and along the inside of your waterline to make you look awake when you’ve been up all night with feedings, sleep-training, or fighting boogeymen hiding in the closet.

4. Decorative headband or Bobby Pins

It’s hilarious to me how a simple twist of hair pinned up, or tied back with a pretty band can give the illusion that I spent time on my hair!

5. Batiste Dry Shampoo

What day is it, and when did I wash my hair? Never mind, just spray this amazing product on those oily spots, let it sit a minute to soak up, then brush out, and voila! You’ll also get great volume.

Now, the real trouble is how to find five minutes to yourself to do this stuff? When I figure that out, I’ll let you know. Good thing real beauty lies within anyway.
