Portland is its own kind of quirky, and parents in PDX might operate somewhat differently than in the rest of the country. Your kids know not to put dog poop in the green bin.
You don’t know what Casual Friday means because you have always worn flip flops to work.
Daily family attire includes a matching rain jacket and/or umbrella for every outfit.
You have discussed your favorite cloth diaper brand over craft beers. And vice versa.
Your kids keep their own reusable containers for lunches and shopping.
You find yourself googling “how to get Aaron’s Thinking Putty out of beard.”
Your first stop in the hunt for new kid toys is your local Buy Nothing group.
You have purple hair. And your kid does, too.
Your family plans all outings according to a TriMet schedule.
You refuse to leave your house any later than 9:45 for a zoo trip, lest you have to fight the crowds.
