We are delighted to bring you details about The Portland Spirit's Cinnamon Bear Cruise in this sponsored post. All views expressed are our own.

Board the Portland Spirit for a fun-filled, two hour cruise up and down the Willamette River for a holiday experience the whole family will enjoy. Take a picture with Captain Taffy before you walk down the gangplank and step aboard the boat into the magical world of Maybeland! There you will meet the fanciful cast of the Cinnamon Bear, an old-timey holiday radio program which still airs every evening 7-7:15, Thanksgiving to Christmas, on K103FM!

One of the many cheerful, costumed servers will lead you to your table and offer the little ones hot chocolate. You can then grab tasty continental breakfast fare from the buffet (the scones were our favorite!), and there’s coffee, tea, and orange juice as well. Hoping for something a little stronger to make it more fun for mom and dad? Pop over to the bar to visit Tipsy the bartender, who will whip you up a mimosa, bloody mary, or spiked hot cider!

Once the boat shoves off, there are all sorts of fun activities to keep the family busy, more colorful characters to meet, and fun songs to learn and sing-along with! Queen Melissa reads the Cinnamon Bear radio story which follows Jimmy and Judy Barton as they search for the Silver Star for the top of their Christmas tree. Jump inside a life-size storybook and get your picture with the Crazy Quilt Dragon. Follow Captain Taffy to the wheelhouse to become a Candy Buccaneer and earn your “lookout endorsement.” Jack Frost puts on an awe-inspiring magic show, and of course you must meet the Cinnamon Bear, get your cinnamon cookie, and take your picture with him! Souvenir photos with the Cinnamon Bear are included with your admission, and all the enchanting characters are eager to autograph the photo display book before you disembark.

Finally, visit the Cinnamon Bear gift shop and take a memento or two home to remember your cruise. They have fairy and dragon wings, stuffed characters, tree ornaments, and even the Portland Spirit Cinnamon Bear picture book.

It seems like a lot to do in only two hours on a large boat with three decks, right? Do not worry! There are many friendly helpers all over to guide you, and announcements play frequently on the loud speaker to remind you when and where to go. Do not forget to bundle up! Portland weather delivers all sorts of surprises, and much of the outdoor observation decks are uncovered. Be prepared for cold wind and rain if you venture outside during your boat ride.

The two-hour Cinnamon Bear cruises run every Saturday and Sunday through December 22nd and daily between December 23-27 (except for Christmas Day) with convenient cruise times to accommodate all schedules; 11 a.m.-1 p.m., 2-4 p.m., and 6:30-8:30 p.m. Get your tickets today and discover a new holiday tradition your kids will want to experience year after year!
